Meanwhile, Saul was uttering threats with every breath and was eager to kill the Lord’s followers.So he went to the high priest.
2 He requested letters addressed to the synagogues in Damascus, asking for their cooperation in the arrest of any followers of the Way he found there. He wanted to bring them—both men and women—back to Jerusalem in chains.
3 As he was approaching Damascus on this mission, a light from heaven suddenly shone down around him.
4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?
5 “Who are you, lord?” Saul asked.
And the voice replied, “I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting!
More GROUNDED!
My prayerful declaration is that this will be a summer of more!
There must be more!
- More of God’s presence!
- More of God’s power!
- More God ideas.
- More of the Father’s love!
- More of the Son’s freedom!
- More of the Spirit’s power!
- More HG inspired creativity, ingenuity, and innovation.

4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?
Just like with Saul,
- The creator of the universe,
- The architect of life,
- The sustainer of eternal truths,
- The One that created you, has a plan for you.
And he will interrupt your now in order to secure your next. He will disrupt your plans in order to activate his purpose! God’s plans are greater than your plans. God’s ways are greater than your ways. This undeniable truth stand evident in the life of Saul. Saul was so confident as he walked with his acquaintances to Damascus when all of a sudden; (bright light). Am I the only one here whose life was suddenly interrupted?
Am I the only one on route to my Damascus to what I believed was my destination when God just showed up prompting me to stop for a moment, pause for a pivot, wait for a word?
Saul was on his way when THE WAY showed up!
Did Jesus ask permission?
Did Jesus slide a DM?
He just did what? SHOW UP!
God doesn’t need your permission to show up in your life!
God doesn’t need your permission to show up in your children’s life!
God doesn’t need your authorization to disrupt your plans, interrupt your journey and takeover the conversation!
Here is the word for you today!
Get ready!
In your family and faith, home and health, in your atmosphere and activities; get ready for divine interruptions!
Get ready for holy disruptions!
More of God requires you to make room for holy disruptions!

Jesus shows up and what happened?
Saul fell!
Saul fell!
Saul of Tarsus fell!
Saul the Pharisee fell!
Saul the persecutor fell!
Why?
The light of Christ!
The light overwhelmed him.
The light overpowered him.
The light overtook him.
And he fell!
And he collapsed!
And he surrendered!
Why did he fall?
The laws of the universe!

Dark energy, meanwhile, is the name we give the mysterious influence driving the accelerated expansion of the universe.
Why is the universe still growing?
Because in Genesis 1:1-3
In the beginning God!
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth!
And darkness prevailed and he said let there be light!
His word is still bearing fruit!
It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit.It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.
Isaiah 55:11
God said let there be light and he never said stop.
God never said stop no more light.
The moment he said let there be light that word is still bearing fruit.
That’s why you cannot be stopped.
The moment God said go,
nothing can stop you
the moment God said bear fruit
nothing can stop you
the moment God said occupy
nothing can stop you
the moment God said you are anointed nothing can stop
the moment God said you were saved….
Here it is;
The light of Jesus prompts Saul to fall.
Let’s look at it from a scientific perspective.
Light is a form of electromagnetic radiation, which means it has electric fields and magnetic fields vibrating back and forth very quickly as a wave.
Light-Another principle of physics is that Light and Electricity are the SAME THING. Electricity is just Light guided along wires.

Saul falls to the ground!
When something falls, it falls because of gravity.
The electromagnetic radiation of Jesus appears and Saul hits the ground!
The light of Jesus triggered Saul to fall.
Gravity is the invisible force that keeps us from flying of a planet spinning at because the center pulls us in!
He was grounded!

Ground Wire
The ground wire offers an additional path for the electrical circuit to flow into the earth so as to not endanger anyone working with the electricity nearby in the event of a short circuit. Without ground wire, your body could instead complete the ground path and may cause shock or electrocution.
Without the ground wire, a surge or short circuit can electrocution( possibly killing you).
The light of Jesus triggered Saul to fall.
He was grounded!
- If you’re not grounded you are vulnerable to an electric surge.
- If you’re not grounded you are vulnerable to an electrocution.
- If you’re not grounded you’re vulnerable to being shocked.
In other words if you’re not grounded in Jesus your dream may will blow up in your face your destiny may very well evaporate.
But when you are grounded not even a storm will be able to separate you from your purpose.
God is not grounding you to punish you God grounds you to protect you.
God grounds you to protect purpose.
God ground you to protect the calling.
If you find yourself grounded don’t whine about it, give God praise.
God’s light, God’s electromagnetic radiation will ground you in order to save you.
God’s light will ground you in order to connect you to your original purpose!
But even before I was born, God chose me and called me by his marvelous grace. Then it pleased him to reveal his Son to me so that I would proclaim the Good News about Jesus to the Gentiles. When this happened, I did not rush out to consult with any human being. Galatians 1:15-16
- God designed you!
- God defines you!
- God develops you!
- God destined you!
- God defends you!
Get grounded!

*More of God grounds you; making the old you fall, in order for the new you to rise up.
5 “Who are you, lord?” Saul asked.
And the voice replied, “I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting!
The old you must collapse before the new you conquers!
I want to speak to every single person who experienced the reality of being grounded.
The fall is not your end.
The fall, when Jesus is present, is actually the beginning.
Paul you began his journey with Christ through a fall!
And then he got up and changed the world!
You can’t change the world until you change first.
Changing the world begins with you!
I would love to have been there!
No TikTok video, no FB, No IG, No IPhone but on that floor was the man that would one day get up and full of God’s HS, inspired by the HS, would write;
That guy on the ground!
That guy on the ground was the man who was possessed with the Holy Spirit and wrote the following;
“My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” I would rather boast most gladly of my weaknesses in order that the power of Christ may dwell with me. Therefore I am content with weaknesses, with insults, with hardships, persecutions, and constraints for the sake of Christ, for when I am weak then I am strong. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)
Rejoice in the Lord always. I shall say it again: rejoice! Your kindness should be known to all. The Lord is near. Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4-7)

That guy on the ground!
So do not tell me if you are grounded that your best days are behind you.
Your best days are not behind you, your best days in Jesus are ahead of you.
- You are about to see what you have never seen before.
- You are about to say what you have never said before.
- You are about to occupy when you have never occupied before.
- You are about to accomplish for him what you have never accomplished before.
Because what begins down here will inevitably end up up there
So if you say, Pastor Sam, I fell again?
Although a righteous person may fall seven times, he gets up again, but the wicked will be brought down by calamity.
